Todd completed his undergraduate degree in Math and Physics at Westminster College, and will complete his MS in MAE in December 2009. Todd's research work includes work on an optimization problem of an inflatable airfoil, which used DAKOTA (Design Analysis Kit for Optimization and Terascale Applications), in conjunction with OpenFOAM simulations on gmesh grids to find the wing shape that will yield the best aerodynamic performance.
