HPC@USU Serves the Research Computing Needs of the USU Community and Beyond

The mission of HPC@USU is to:

• Enable research activities that utilize advanced computing technologies and resources
• Expand and contribute to the growth, understanding, education, and infrastructure of cyberinfrastructure
• Enhance inter disciplinary student education that depends on advanced computing technologies
• Explore cost effective and innovative solutions that deliver forward-thinking cyberinfrastructure resources to support research excellence

To achieve this mission, HPC@USU will:

• Provide large scale computing, networking, visualization, storage and data management resources
• Enable education of advanced simulation and cyber environments
• Partner with researchers and industry to design, develop and deploy computing systems that have the potential of advancing computational research in agriculture, science, engineering, technology and other disciplines
• Collaborate with educators to integrate advanced computing technologies into undergraduate and graduate curricula
